Jim Davidson stars as cockney Jim London, bachelor on the dole, chasing birds, boozing down the pub and getting into all manner of scrapes - and not entirely legal ones at that. Then he inherits his Aunt Minnie's terrace house situated under a bridge in the Elephant and Castle, "Sarf" London. Unluckily for Jim he also inherits the sitting squatter, some dodgy neighbours and the attentions of the local sex-pot who just won't take no for an answer.
The series was broadcast in 1983 and as well making a name for Jim, sees early performances from Anita Dobson, Sue Nicholls, Christopher Ellison, Linda Robson and John Bardon as Dad London.
