An engaging reimagining of the Dracula story, giving the back story of Bram Stoker's characters a unique spin. The 10 episode set is very watchable and the occasional slowdown in the pace of the action is levelled out my the quality of the cast and action. Jonathon Rhys Meyers at first seems an odd casting, but his on screen presence is remarkable (worth watching just for him). A great entry point for a reimagining I just hope the series gets a chance to build on events and characters of this wonderfully made piece of Television. Final note on the set the few bonus features included are interesting but very short and not many of them, given the amount of effort that went into the show a meatier collection of behind the scenes would have added a lot to the enjoyment of the overall set.
