There once was a golden eara of heavy metal.
An age were musicians thrived for the best as their means of rebellion against a cultural desease called mediocrety and decency. And there was Metallica and the black album.
You may or may not like Heavy Metal, but this disc is on the whole a piece of art. Almost never again did I find a CD to be played through like this one.
And I am proud to say that these guys changed my life with their music, for I learned to play the guitar because of that masterpiece. And because I was practising at home, my father one day told me as I said to him "Metallica are coming to town!" - "OK - lets see them" He was 60 then!
And no wonder the metalheads go cracy when they strum one note from one of these pieces during their concerts..
