The Internet, New World Order, bio farms, terrorists, global financial markets and space explorers are on the rise and pose new challenges to El Presidente. Old buildings and structures become obsolete and have to be upgraded or even replaced with modern counterparts. Cars and transportation are modernized to meet the requirements of a changing economy, El Presidente can even send people to the International Space Station, join the war against terror and decide over Internet regulation and freedom of speech. Make Tropico fit for the 21st century: The island evolves from the Cold War era to modern times and even into the future.
