Reviews of BioShock Infinite Game PS3

It is fascinating, and also boring. It is important, yet forgettable. Its world is enticing and unappealing. It attempts to move things forward, yet is in places stuck in the past. For a game that has the potential to open up the franchise up to a multitude of different ideas and interpretations, BioShock Infinite can feel curiously limited. 8/10 IMO

Overall this is a good game. I gave it 3 stars because I didn't like the gameplay that much. It was very fatiguing for me. There is shooting, shooting, shooting the same enemies all over again, and it isn't that much fun. And for such a sophisticated story driven game, I didn't quite got why I was supposed to kill those people. The weapons aren't that interesting either and I used only one Vigor through all the game, the Murder of Crows. The story also didn't make that much sense also. I may risk some spoilers here but so BEWARE. There is a moment when Booker and Elizabeth have to get some guns to exchange for a flying ship. The gunsmith is dead so they go to an alternate reality where the gunsmith wasn't dead in order to get the guns. That doesn't make a bit of sense, if things are so different in that other reality, how could they possibly think that the deal for the exchange of guns for ship still be standing, things started to fall apart from there on, it's quite silly? They tried to explain in the ending, which is interesting but I wan't convinced. Anyways, I replayed the original Bioshock after I played this one and found the original to be superior in all aspects. Everything made sense in the original. I ended up trading my copy of Bioshock Infinite after I finished it. My take, buy it when it's affordable, it's good, but not quite great.

This masterpiece invited to light a journey that a time is not enough. To others, teaches the worry aside time to have fun and encourages research each place to go slowly understanding the relationship of Booker, Elizabeth and other major characters in the plot. The history and depth of each character will amaze all players. Finally, add that anyone who has a PS3, XBOX or PC should try and enjoy it, why is a game that will leave a mark in your life and amaze.

Only played the 1 hour trial of the PS Plus, but it was enough to know it's an amazing game, maybe side by side with The Last of Us as GOTY. Columbia is so incredible detailed, and also inviting - in my first time there I explored every inch of the city, observing every citizen, buildings and boards/posters. It was like an anthropological research lol. Can't wait to play the entire game, just need a price drop now.

Bioshock Infinite is just perfect, the art made videogame, Levine's debut, I have not played more than two hours to Columbia to feel similarly to Rapture, with an atmosphere, BSO, sublime design and gameplay much improved over to previous installments. They have broken through the previous best of both into a new era without losing what has made this series, probably the best of the generation, and therefore more than 6 months after saving I am proud of the purchase I've done. Now, enjoy it.
