I have this on both the 3DS and Playstation 3 and the upgrade to the standard dual analogue game pad makes this game much more playable and enjoyable. Obviously the graphical power of the PS3 makes this better visually in nearly every way but ultimately the game is the same as the 3DS version. The story is slightly bizarre at times (Hey this wouldn't be RE without the odd characters and bad voice acting right?) and this does remove you a little from the tense survival horror tone of the rest of the game at times but not enough to ruin the experience completely. Ultimately this is a return to form and I believe that this is what true RE fans have wanted for a long while. Tense, atmospheric, Jumpy and great RE action, not seen since at least RE4. if you love any of the original 1-3 main Resident Evil games, you'll like this one.

Revelations is the perfect pick for Resident Evil oldschool fans. This game brings back the survival horror elements that were the foundation of the series. You will see scarce ammo and narrow corridors that gives you a feeling of nostalgia. My main complaint are the enemies - there are very few monsters in the game and they get repetitive very quickly.

Resident Evil: Revelations is a pretty good game, best in the series, but I still stick with Resident Evil 6. One feature I liked about this game is that the scares are not lacking, though that's essential in the series. The controls are fine, easy to learn and practical. What I liked is the place where the story, a cruise, the perfect place to live a horror story. It's definitely worth it, and it returns to the origins of the saga.
