One caveat: this isn't really my type of game but a friend had just gotten it and really wanted to try it out. So possibly take my review with a pinch of salt, though I'll try to remain objective.
The game depends a lot on dice rolling (which is something I don't like), but at least you can hedge your bets by using life and ammo tokens, as well as event cards. There's a bit of strategy that I found to be its saving grace. I like games that allow players to adapt to the circumstances they are thrown in, rather than be at the mercy of dice all the time.
Production wise it's decent: the location tiles, the art work, the zombie models - all quite good for the price. Also, the other player we were with really loved the humour on the cards and all the reference to zombie pop culture. Some of the artwork is really gorey, which probably will appeal to lovers of the genre.
