Usually, time travel in boardgames is a big failure. In this game it works very well. There is a lot of planning and strategy needed so that you can control technologies, keep them succeeding by ensuring their prerequisites exist, and also try to trump your opponents. That's great, but sometimes that can take away from experiencing the theme. The components are good, and the artwork is kooky. Unfortunately you'll need quite a bit of playing space to be able to lay down a whole lot of cards. And I've only played with a small number of players, but it works well even with two players.
