This is one of the best game i ever played! Don't think twice and just get it ! Imaginge yourself Heroes 3 (The pc game) in a board game. This game also use one of my favorite mechanics - Deck building. You really get the feeling your are playing a hero who tries to make the world better. An Insta buy for me!

Mage Knight is definitely a complex game, and I'd say you'll definitely need a couple of games before you really start to improve and understand the game. Besides that, once you get past the complexity, it is an awesome game! A great adventure game that gives you quite a lot of freedom to do what you want if what you have. Also has a pretty cool deck-building aspect, that lets you build up your power as you like. The components are great, love the miniatures. Great game, but does take a while to learn it. But once you learn it, it isn't that complicated and is great fun.

I've been wanting this game for ages, finally a mate of mine bought it and we played it together. After only one game i fell in love with it and instantly purchased a copy for myself. The game brings heaps of different game modes to play, i.e Solo, team or against each other

A masterpiece of solo and coop game design, Mage Knight was known for a long time in my gaming group as the game we all loved to play but had to play last as it would exhaust us completely. After a bunch of solo games under my belt, I now prefer to play the coop or competitive mode with other friends. Get the expansion Lost Legion if you can. It allows you some great new enemies (Volkaire and some souped up monsters) and one smashing new hero Bloodhawk.
