Dreaming about swinging between the skyscrapers....who hasn't been since Tobey Maguire's debut as the beloved webslinger. In this crisp fashion. Only this version of spidey had us nerds fixated on the screen guessing if it truly could feel and look this way for Peter Parker. And here you can do it in a very cinematographic style that will have you gaping in awe how close this is to what you have seen in the I,II & III of the movie features....at least for an hour or so. Then it settles in. becomes routine. But as the movement is so well portraied this Spidey won't keep you swinging the area in routine "just to get to the blinking dot"...you will want to do it in style. And what "in style" this game has to offer in the air..it lacks on the ground. Especially in the battles. The fighting commands are old fashined and a bit pimped from the old spidey games...some might even detect simmiliarities to other actual game titles like Batman...who also got his fighting joystic-commands from elsewhere... In all you could say it is like a LEGO adventure..There was the IndianaJones, Starwars, Batman,.. Well here the hero is Spidey and not Batman with upgrades and missions to fulfill. Hey, if this is your stuff and your choice of comics for the last x decades you can't go wrong...upup and away!

The Amazing Spider-man Xbox 360 Graphically, the game is fine, but far from playing in the big leagues. Playful one has very strongly oriented to "Batman AC". Above all, the battle system, the developers have Copied quite clearly there. However, the moves of Spidey look not nearly as smooth as from the bat of his colleagues. Also, the upgrade system and unlockable moves are far more extensive in Batman. In addition, the upgrades are not really "felt". Somehow you can see, even after fully pimped network no appreciable difference.

Based on one of my favourite films and characters Amazing Spiderman breathes new life into the series. Having playing alot of spiderman games and several on the 360 it was great to find Amazing Spiderman returning to the open plan city gaming experience of Arkham City or Spiderman 2. Giving players the options to complete side quests and challenges to their hearts content whilst completing the main story and stunning bosses. The game captures Spidey's wit and the combat system is pretty good. It's not quite Arkham city but it still got hours and hours of play. Any one who is planning to watch the film without spoilers should note this game is set after the events of the film. Plays great and looks amazing... web slinging has never felt so Amazing.
