Personally I was a little disappointed by the length of the main single player campaign on offer with BF4. Although it was quite intense with some brilliant set pieces it did fill almost a bit tacked on to the multiplayer side of the game.
Graphically it certainly isn't a bad attempt at showing off your shiny new Xbox One console, with a good 30 FPS and some lovely new effects only possible on this new generation of consoles, there is a lot going on on screen and the action rarely lets up. I just feel that the single player could have been more.
Multi player is were the money has clearly been spent while producing this game. The usual perk system, upgradable weapons and levelling makes a return but what makes online play so good is the increased number of players per game (64 in total) and the new smart glass functionality (Commander Mode on tablets) add fun new features to make things feel fresh at least on console. Maps are huge but some how do not feel over sized for this many players and the new Frostbite engine (And destruction referred to as Levolution) has to be seen to be believed.
In Summary more of a must buy for the on line FPS fan but not so great as a single player experience on it's own.
