Finally a decent Bond again. And yes it stinks of "we are scheming it to be on track again for the next ones" All new young characters who have enough screentime to get you remembering them with the next sequel to this genre. But where are we heading? It all comes down to Sean connery entering Moneypenny's office again. And it's all there! And everyone else who doesn't fit that picture any more dies or is just gone. And with that, something we have gotten used to in Bond is gone. the good fine-edged-educated mocking. This one on the other hand has it all again. Grandeur, a propper villain (who's a bit gay..nice touch!) and a good setting. Yet nothing special from the story with Bond here. Yes they went down the path of "his past" and hi "sociology" like before. And yes his sexmates have no true glamour any more - like before. If they annoy on the screen, they just die. And the end..you cannot help but say - this is not Bond-worthy. Yes he stacks up against an army of badies, but which agent that is NOT haunted by his own, would do that and endanger his boss? Yes I just took a star from my ranking. If you think of it - this was...this is a good bond because it just pushes everything back to the old way...but with ridiculous ideas just making the fit to the sought trim! Again - half a star off. there is better - the old ones!
