Welcome to 365games.co.uk! We are a fast paced, forward thinking, and dynamic internet based retailer of Video Games and entertainment products. We operate from a head office in Renishaw, and later this year we will relocate to a new 4 acre site with purpose built offices and integrate into our newly operational Distribution Centre. We are a young, vibrant company, where all our staff are hands on; willing to help others and want to work together to reach our goals. Our success has been built on the foundation of creative and hardworking individuals, who have embraced our unique, forward thinking approach to business. After continued success and growth, we will be relocating our operation and logistics team to a bespoke purpose built warehouse in nearby Barlborough.
What started from a single eBay store in 2004 rapidly grew to multiple sites across many countries.
365games.co.uk launched in 2007 selling video games, not just to the UK, but to various other countries around the world - and just to give you an insight to how long ago this was - we were selling PlayStation One and Gameboy games! Due to our early success, in 2009, we expanded our range of products to film, selling DVDs and Blu-ray. We also expanded our team to provide better support for our customers.
In early 2011, the voices of our loyal PC gamers was heard, who wanted more than just games. So we provided a wide range of tech, from gaming keyboards & mice to audio devices and PC software, and again, expanding our team to maintain excellent customer support.
This led us into 2012, the 5th year of success with 365games.co.uk, also the year the PS Vita & Wii U were released. To celebrate our success, we expanded our gaming range to much more than just video games and stocked a massive range of board & card games, because let's face it, off screen gaming is just as fun! By this time, our team grew to over 40 people.
By 2013, we provided our customers with an even larger variety of products, including collectables & gaming merchandise, from figurines and graphic novels, to posters and strategy guides. Our team grew to over 60 people and in May 2013, 365games.co.uk was recognised as one of "The UK's Fastest Growing Indies" by MCV.
Later this year, we acquired 3.5 acres of prime commercial land and are investing £4.5 million over the next three to five years to develop the site to provide 365games.co.uk the ability to grow even more in the coming years.
In 2014, we expanded our clothing & collectable range further, and our team grew to over 70 people. We also made it to the finalists of the MCV Awards 2014 for the Online Independent Retailer Award.
In early 2015 we gave young people a chance... Our apprenticeship programme has had great success in the first 12 months and we have found the majority of successful candidates enthusiastic and willing to learn. We have peaked at 8 concurrent roles running in all departments of the business from Marketing, Accounts, Commercial, Warehouse and Ecommerce. We take pride in giving valuable work experience to young people and we help them form a career path for the future.
We started a new chapter in 2012 by deciding to rebuild our entire IT system from the ground up. We wanted to create the best thing since sliced bread. Something our industry could only dream of. We called the project Antler. 3 years later, after blood, sweat and tears, we have installed the beta version of the system and started the slow progress of migrating over. The potential of Antler is huge and we can't wait to maximise it.
At the start of 2016 we gave the go ahead to start phase 1 of building our dream premises. We purchased 4 acres of land 2 years ago and today we have signed a deal to construct a 24,000 sqft custom designed fulfilment centre in Barlborough, Chesterfield. We expected to move later this year however planned extensions delayed this further into 2017.
Over the last 2 years we have helped many young people secure a future, starting them on the career ladder once the apprenticeship has ended. We are proud to have retained and taken on over 8 young people across all departments. We are a young company at heart and we take pride in helping local people find new opportunities.
Oh boy have we had a lot of sunshine in the last 12 months. Turnover has grown by over £3m in the last year to £30.3m. We have invested a lot of money over the years in people, infrastructure, systems and new opportunities. 50% of which has not worked out and cost us money, but our glass is half full, so in recent months we have adjusted the business to suit our new objectives and we are seeing great results.
Our new head office and warehouse is complete, and we officially moved in September!
Whilst we have waited for the new Batcave to be completed, we have launched our brand new website for 365games.co.uk. The new design has been developed in-house from the ground up, with a modern sleek look. We took on all feedback from you, our customers, and created the new website with your thoughts in mind – faster loading pages, simpler categories and search, quicker checkout process – you name it, we’ve made it. Not to forget an amazing range of affordable games for all ages!
Please let us know what you think of the redesign. Do you love it? What would you like to see added? We will be implementing new features over the next few months to improve your shopping experience, and we would love to hear from you. Get in touch with us via our Contact Us page.
Well, this is us! A group of passionate gamers who understand and love many areas within the gaming industry.
Gaming aside, we're also a fun & friendly bunch who love nothing more than an opportunity to raise team spirits by participating in various charitable events.
Over the past few years, we have raised over £1100 for Children in Need, by baking, selling and eating cakes - whilst dressed as superheroes - Well, characters we consider as superheroes!
We also raised money for Sport Relief in 2014, by participating in a Tug-of-War competition! Yeah, we're not the sportiest people you could meet, but this doesn't stop us from joining in the fun, especially for a good cause!
Apart from that, we had a summer BBQ to raise money for McMillan Cancer Research as well as Save the Children's Christmas Jumper day.
Well there's 8 reasons! If you want more details on any of the above, check out our Why buy from us? page.

"So I found myself in a bit of a bind, less than a week before my son's birthday and no present in sight, he had said that he would really like the Lego movie game on the Xbox, but sadly it was beyond my budget. As luck would have it I stumbled across 365games.co.uk and the game was within budget and was despatched within plenty of time for his birthday. 365games got me out of a bind and was the perfect online retailer, good communication, great prices and rapid delivery, I couldn't ask for more!"
