In Camel Up, up to eight players bet on five racing camels, trying to suss out which will place first and second in a quick race around a pyramid. The earlier you place your bet, the more you can win — should you guess correctly, of course. Camels don't run neatly, however, sometimes landing on top of another one and being carried toward the finish line. Who's going to run when? That all depends on how the dice come out of the pyramid dice shaker, which releases one die at a time when players pause from their bets long enough to see who's actually moving!

Camel Up is a brilliant, fast paced and exhilarating game.
You are Egyptian gamblers betting, and influencing, the outcome of a traditional camel race.
The mechanics are simple, straight forward yet still interesting, with only 4 actions to choose from each turn (you complete one action per turn).
What makes this game unique is the element of pure luck with the feeling of ‘some’ control over the game; it’s always a first at a games night (and sometimes the only game that gets played).
With in game betting for each ‘round’ and the end of the game, the game grips players throughout, altering their decisions based on previous players actions - because of this, I recommend that no less than 4 play a game of camel up (it can accommodate 8). With two players, the element of risk and suspense is lost as you can still benefit from moving the camels and betting. In a bigger group, moving the camels is a risk (but essential) as you could miss out on winning coins from a camel out in front.
This is a classic game and reccomened to all players (hard gamers and casual gamers).

Super fun game! very nice components, easy to learn rules and with a little bit of luck. The dice rolling pyramid is such a lovely centre piece to the game, and even though the odds are sometimes against you one leg of the game can turn things in your favour!

This is a fun family game for players of all ages. We've played in a group ranging from ages 6 to 70 and everyone really gets into the spirit of betting on the winning camel and trying to guess the other player's next move. This game really comes into it's own with a larger group (we often) play with 4 or more players. Highly recommended.

Fun family game with a dice rolling and betting mechanics that makes the game really tense.

Such a fun simple game! On your turn, there are only four options to choose from. This game is very light and luck based, there really isn't any strategy in it. The fun in the game is definitely the laughter and banter you share with your friends as you watch the camels move along and race course, climbing on top of each other, and seeing the placing constantly changing. It is really fun and simple to teach. A great, light betting and push your luck game, great for all ages!
