    Product Description

    Love Letter Card Game

All of the eligible young men (and many of the not-so-young) seek to woo the princess of Tempest. Unfortunately, she has locked herself in the palace, and you must rely on others to bring your romantic letters to her. Will yours reach her first? Love Letter is a game of risk, deduction, and luck for 2 to 4 players. Your goal is to get your love letter into Princess Annette's hands while deflecting the letters from competing suitors. From a deck with only sixteen cards, each player starts with only one card in hand; one card is removed from play. On a turn, you draw one card, and play one card, trying to expose others and knock them from the game. Powerful cards lead to early gains, but make you a target. Rely on weaker cards for too long, however, and your letter may be tossed in the fire.

    • A game of risk, deduction and luck
    • Can you win the heart of the princess?
    • Playing time 20 mins
    • 2-4 Players
    • Ages 10

Draw a card. Play a card. Make everyone at the table howl in outrage. You now know how to play! Truly excellent card game that packs huge entertainment in a tiny package. A small learning curve as you get to know the different types of cards and their effects, so be sure you REALLY know the game well before introducing it to new players with an "open hand round". That should take all of 3 minutes and then you are away. I have introduced this to groups of slightly tipsy gentlemen with great success by asking if they want to play "the worlds manliest card game". Terrific fun, lots of backstabbing and second guessing, no home or Xmas gathering should be without it.

Assume that you divide a game's rate to its components in order to rate each game component. In that case, Love Letter's cards are by far the top rated game components. With only 16 cards, this game is one of the best card games you can play with anyone at any time, in any place. Simple rules, quick turns and a lot of fun. A must have both for gamers and non-gamers.

A small, cheap, and very simple card game. This game is perfect to carry around with you and when you have a couple of minutes to kill, as it plays so fast. The game only has 16 cards, 4 reference cars, and some cubes for scoring. Each player will start with one card. On their turn they just draw one card and choose one card to discard and apply its effect. It's so simple yet highly entertaining, and this edition comes in a small velvet pouch that carries the whole game.

How much game can you pack into 16 cards? That's apparently the question Seiji Kanai asked himself while designing this game, and the answer is one of the most popular card games in the last few years. This game plays 2 to 4 players, and a round only lasts a few minutes, so it can be easily played on the go or when time is limited. I have tried this game with many groups and it has been a huge success every time. Must be that irresistible balance of simplicity and interesting decisions. Definitely give this one a try.

I played this game once at my friend's house and I liked it so much I decided to buy it the next day. It is a good card game and everbody likes it because it is simple (you learn it in minutes), it lasts for 10-15 minutes and it is easy to carry. Best £7 I have ever spent.
