High-quality technology with an elegant, simple look with a focus on functionality, that is the principle behind the design of the Ion+ Platinum series. A large 140 mm fan ensures sufficient cooling of the electronics and this also helps manage heat. Its FDB bearing design ensures smooth and quiet operation at all speeds. The Fractal Design power supply has been semi-passively designed to operate silently when idle, and this means that the fan does not start at all when the power supply is under low load due to additional cooling not being necessary. The unit's extremely high efficiency is guaranteed by the 80 PLUS Platinum certificate.

Fractal Design focuses on quality above all in the components: Only high-quality Japanese 105-degree capacitors are used. These are considered to be particularly durable.
