I was really looking forward to Thief as I felt from videos and interviews I had seen that it would be similar to a cross over of aspects from Skyrim and Assassins Creed. I wasn't disappointed with this as it was similar to the two games, being able to hide in the shadows and steal items from under peoples noses was great and so much fun. Unfortunately the part of the game that was a let down was the main story. It was predictable and a bit boring. Not to mention that, having not played the previous games I didn't know the characters and with zero introduction to them as you are thrown straight into the story, I just didn't care at all about the characters. I feel I must warn about an eXtremely creepy game chapter that takes place in a mental hospital, the games ability to freak you out is high because when playing the game you become completely absorbed into the game play. I found myself whispering to other people in the room when I was playing because this game lives up to the 'for the players' next gen promise of the PlayStation4. I would recommend it for the gameplay expereince alone.
