After 20 plays of Five Tribes it has kind of lost just a hint of luster. This one used to be in my top 10 for quite some time, but after a few years, this one probably sits in my top 15-20 somewhere. That is not negative at all. It is still one that gets to the table 2-3 times a year. All but one of my plays of this has been at 2 players with the same player. I feel like playing this one at 3 players could give it some new life. Overall this is a great game that we do enjoy, but just not as much as when we first got it.

This game is complex in a really simple way. Some friend of my, hate it because the analisis paralysis, but I think this is a good game, mind challenging and fun.

Play with innovative mechanics, excellent components and gorgeous look. Holds up to 5 players which is great for me. Mode of play is easy, but the strategy is quite deep to try to make combos.

The game looks very nice. It's colorful and there are 90 meeples on the board in the beginning of the game. The wood components palms and palaces are large and beautiful. Unfortunately, the quality of tokens (gold coins) is not ideal. Random tiles setup provides high replayability. As for gameplay it can attract both childrens and serious players. The rules are pretty simple. There is also official solo mode on the Day of Wonder site.

One of the best designs in It´s tipe. Compete with up to 4 other players to have the best movement and use a unique combination of meeples with different habiliteis to turn the board in your favor. Somewhat a gamers game, but a very good one, designed by Bruno Cayhala and published with excelent quality by days of wonder.
