Dominoes with a kingdom building twist. Each turn, connect a new domino to your existing kingdom, making sure at least one of its sides connects to a matching terrain type already in play. The game mechanics for obtaining the tiles is clever: the order of who picks first depends on which tile was previously chosen. Make sure to secure tiles with crowns- these royal treasures help to multiply the worth of your kingdom at the end of the game! The game ends when each player has completed a 5x5 grid, and then points are counted based on number of connecting tiles and crowns.

Easy to learn, not to hard to master, but if you have some newbies or kids to play it is a must have game. The components and art are beautiful. Puzzle experience on tile placing is nice and you will love it. Have some luck involved, but if you have kids it is a good thing as they can shine too.
A great little filler-game. Easy and quick to teach, games are short and can be played by anyone, even 8+ years old children. Also, the game is basically as tactical as YOU wish it to be. It is designed in a way that if you play smart - you will probably win, but even if you decide to play without putting much thought to it, you'll still get a fair amount of points and give a good fight. So it really is a game for everyone. It's not super-deep, but it isn't trying to be, and it's so much better for it. And while there is a "luck" element, it serves as a "randomizer" rather than as a game mechanic. The quality of the pieces is great, the art is superb and it just feels and looks incredible. The only bad thing I have to say about this game is the fact that counting your points in the end requires quite a bit of arithmetics, which is kind of annoying and can be a tad difficult for smaller children. Other than that, it's almost a must-have in every house, of gamers and non-gamers alike.
Kingdomino is the game I was searching for introduce new players: simple rules, fast and with the right amount of strategy and luck. My son is 5 and he learned the rules in just one play. I like the box and tiles art and material is in a very good quality.
Easy to learn, fun to master. A family game that can be used also by gamers as a gaming night starter. Kingdomino plays fast,
Deserved winner of the Spiel des Jahres. Quick, easy to teach and play game. However, it has some good decisions in it. Fun tile-laying puzzle element. Interesting scoring. Good turn order mechanism. I think I prefer it with two. The tile selection is more interesting when both players have two meeples. However, it is good with 4 as well. 3p loses something as you will not see 25% of the tiles. This introduces a good bit of randomness to the game that removes a lot bit of the strategy and planning,
