Learn more about usThis game is fantastic ! I have played this with gamers and non gamers and they all loved it. The game is about trying to complete quests and in order to complete them you will need to hire questers, thieves, fighters, wizards etc. The thing is that the other players are trying to do the same and you can't all hire the people you need at the same time. You will have to block players from hiring the last wizard and make sure you can complete your quest before them to get points. The player who has the most points at the end of 8 rounds wins the game. It is a great game, easy to learn and fun to play. A must have for your games collection. BUY IT !
actually a very nice and not to much complex game. the d&d theme is nice for those who like it but it won't ruin the game for people who don't have a strong attachment to the theme. its a pretty basic worker placement game although in the beginning it doesn't look this way. so far everybody I played with liked this game. a great introduction game for worker placement mechanism and board gaming.
Great game. Good as a new players introduction to worker placement games. It is a bit more than a light game, but no way it is complex one. Basically you control one of the lords of Waterdeep and send your agents to hire people to complete different types of quests. Some of them give you more points at the end of game, depending the lord you picked up. That is how worker placement is done, by hiring wizards, warriors, etc. And then send them to complete one specific quest. Work art is splendid. Some people get disappointed, because they come from D&D world and expect something different. I'm not a role playing fan, I play now and then, but I can tell it has the mythic and spirit of D&D world, off course with a different mechanic here, but it is there. Love this game, never gets old, and if at some point if feels a bit repetitive, there is a marvelous expansion, assuring longevity.
