    Battlefield 4 Game Xbox One

Battlefield 4 is the genre-defining action blockbuster made from moments that blur the line between game and glory. Fueled by the next-generation power and fidelity of Frostbite™ 3, Battlefield 4 provides a visceral, dramatic experience unlike any other.

Only in Battlefield can you demolish the buildings shielding your enemy. Only in Battlefield will you lead an assault from the back of a gun boat. Battlefield grants you the freedom to do more and be more while playing to your strengths and carving your own path to victory.

In addition to its hallmark multiplayer, Battlefield 4 features an intense, dramatic character-driven campaign that starts with the evacuation of American VIPs from Shanghai and follows your squad's struggle to find its way home.

There is no comparison. Immerse yourself in the glorious chaos of all-out war, found only in Battlefield.

    • Only in Battlefield can you experience Levolution, changing the landscape in real-time with interactive environments that react to your every move, ensuring no two matches are ever alike.
    • Only in Battlefield will you find the awe-inspiring power of the next generation Frostbite 3 engine, delivering unmatched visual and audio fidelity, superior character animations and dynamic destruction.
    • Only in Battlefield can you experience an unmatched level of all-out war that grants you the freedom to play to your strengths and carve your path to victory.
    • Only in Battlefield do you have the power to dominate land, air and sea with all-new, intense water-based vehicle combat.
    • Only in Battlefield will you lead your squad in Commander Mode, where you’ll take point and turn the tides of battle from the edge of your seat or on the go with your tablet.

Personally I was a little disappointed by the length of the main single player campaign on offer with BF4. Although it was quite intense with some brilliant set pieces it did fill almost a bit tacked on to the multiplayer side of the game. Graphically it certainly isn't a bad attempt at showing off your shiny new Xbox One console, with a good 30 FPS and some lovely new effects only possible on this new generation of consoles, there is a lot going on on screen and the action rarely lets up. I just feel that the single player could have been more. Multi player is were the money has clearly been spent while producing this game. The usual perk system, upgradable weapons and levelling makes a return but what makes online play so good is the increased number of players per game (64 in total) and the new smart glass functionality (Commander Mode on tablets) add fun new features to make things feel fresh at least on console. Maps are huge but some how do not feel over sized for this many players and the new Frostbite engine (And destruction referred to as Levolution) has to be seen to be believed. In Summary more of a must buy for the on line FPS fan but not so great as a single player experience on it's own.
